Both of my dream roles would have to be genderswapped. Hopefully, I have a chance at Enjolras.

3D Rings

Miniature meals are at the tips of your fingers thanks to these funky Japanese-inspired food rings. The rings may look edible, but they are made of plastic and glue. Each one is individually hand crafted by Sofia Molnar and can be customised to represent the favourite food of the customer or commemorate a special meal they have had.

Beautiful constructions made with thousands of cans

Canstruction, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that holds annual design and build competitions to construct fantastic, giant sized, structures made entirely out of canned food. In each city after the structures are built and the winners declared the creations go on view to the general public as giant art exhibits.

See Hannah Sculpt: Special Edition—an oldie, but a goodie

“Hogwarts Owlery,” 2011. Polymer clay, acrylic paint, wood, paper, rocks.

This is literally one of the best/favorite things I’ve ever made.

victoriaalissia:

Story time, bear with me.
Last night I was sitting on the floor in Jack’s living room drawing while he packed his apartment. He found one of his lab notebooks from undergrad at MIT, and he’s like, “I’m going to throw this away.”
I can’t say what ANY of it meant, because physics and because nuclear engineering. But as I was looking through it I was like, you didn’t use half of the pages!
And he’s like, “Do you want it?” So I start drawing lettering in it real quick, in this notebook he hadn’t touched in five years. And he looks over and he’s like, “How did you DO that? I can’t imagine ever being able to do that!”
And I thought that was funny, because I was in awe of this book of handwritten notes, of problems solved that will never make sense to me, and supposedly what I was doing was unbelievable. We’re all different like that, huh?

4D Type, 2011 by Lo Siento from Spain

“4D Typography is the result of intersectioning, in an orthogonal way in space, two extrusions of the same character, which allows the spectator to read it from, minimum, two different positions in space.

An observer searching to enjoy a particular architecture, is forced to move around and through it. The change in perspective generates new spaces in which light acts in different ways. In this case, it is the typography who makes the effort of abandoning its two dimensions to approach the architectural sense. It does not resign with a third dimension; a fourth one is necessary to complete the reading possibilities. By hanging the typography, the reader is allowed to surround the characters in order to understand all their shapes.”
